SparklingRomania® is on a mission to give Romanian sparkling wines the visibility they deserve. Through engaging campaigns, we bring attention to unique wines, celebrate the craftsmanship behind every bottle and share the stories of the people and regions that make them special. Our goal is to inspire discovery and connect winelovers with the richness and diversity of Romania’s sparkling wine scene.

Founder of Sparkling Romania

Born and raised in Romania, a country with a significant and dynamic winemaking tradition, I discovered my passion for everything-wine while living in Düsseldorf, Germany, my home since 2012.
Fascinated by wine as both a cultural and historical heritage, I followed this path through the WSET programs, earning the coveted Level 4 Diploma in Wines in January 2023 and, since September 2024, the Weinakademiker title, with a research paper on Romanian Sparkling Wine – Strengths, Weaknesses and Potential.
Since 2023, I have had the joy of co-organizing the Romanian Sparkling Wine Competition, where I oversee an international judging panel and help share the story of Romanian sparkling wine with the world.
Among other roles, I am also a resident taster for the Concours des Vignerons Indépendants and a juror for the London Tasting Awards — activities I pursue not only to maintain a trained palate but also to stay closely connected to the ever-evolving world of wine.
